School Site Council (SSC)

The School Site Council at Andersen Elementary is a group of teachers, parents, administrators, and interested members.  Their responsibility is to work as a team to develop and monitor our school's academic improvement plan. Any school that receives Federal Funding is required to have a School Site Council and members are elected by their peers.  School Site Council meets four times to consider the goals of the school, working with the principal to evaluate the school's progress toward those goals.  School Site Council looks at test scores, attendance and discipline records, parent surveys and student input.
